Dissertation writing

By definition, dissertation writing refers to the whole research carried out on a given research topic. Researchers involved in dissertation writing should make sure that it contains all the important sections that include introduction, literature review, methodology, findings and conclusion. Writing an essay is different from dissertation writing .

Proper research is required when carrying out dissertation writing. An essay requires less time to write because it is not much detailed. Lot of attention is needed when dealing in dissertation writing especially where a lot of analysis is needed. The figures got after analysis should be correctly interpreted to come up with an accurate conclusion. On the other side, an essay, which at times can be as brief as one page, does not need much analysis. All what is important in an essay is that the topic in question should clearly come in. When writing, the researcher can choose to either use secondary data or primary data.

Secondary data is got from existing literature such as journals and magazines where as primary data is got from the field using methods like interviews or observations. Dissertation writing is compulsory is in almost all institutions of higher learning. Every finalist student should undertake dissertation writing as a partial fulfillment to the award of a degree.

An essay is not compulsory and can be written by any person who has some knowledge in it. Usually, an essay topic is set in way that it will not need a lot of explanations. The topic for a given essay should be straightforward. All these are some features that can be used to distinguish dissertation writing from an essay.
