There are so many things that one may have to say in an essay on mother. In fact, so many are these details that one can actually write several books about one’s mother and this is a problem because when one is asked to write a short story about one’s mother, one may not know the details about one’s mother to include and the details to neglect.

As one writes the essay, one should always keep in mind what type of essay one is supposed to write and that is whether the essay is descriptive, analytical, or persuasive or of any other type.

An essay about one’s mother is mostly descriptive and as such, one should concentrate on describing the several things that make one’s mother be the person mentioned in the essay.

After completing to write the essay, one should not rush to hand it in but instead, one should go through it at least two times as one edits the essay and corrects mistakes that may have been made during the writing process. It is also while editing that one makes the essay flow.
