It is often assumed that schools ar safe places where educators are actively teaching, and pupils are actively learning. in that location are major issues concerning the liability of schools, personnel, and officials regarding safety, liability, and confidentiality that are crucial to having and maintaining a functioning and successful learning environment. This paper will discourse school personnel and school district liability.
Introduction
Students need an knowledge free from physical and mental impose on _or_ oppress. The security of safety in schools is very important and is expected by parents and the community in our society. Schools are assumed to be harmless dwellings where educators teach and students learn. The prevailing view held by the court is that wise specialized educators, performing in place of parents, are managing learners, under their care and ensuring, to the greatest extent possible, that they are safe (Essex, 2008).
Unfortunately, there are sometimes situations that occur and issues that can be potentially dangerous to students when at school. School districts, school officials as well as employees may incur responsibility for their tortuous acts, when these acts result in harm to learners.
