Shipbreaking has already emerged as an important economic sector in Bangladesh, some times referred to as the iron ore mine of the boorish extracting about 1.2 million tons of scrap iron annually. around 16,000 parturiencyers are currently working in 26 channel cycle yards which were operational in April 2005.
