The movie The Grapes of vexation, centers on the Joad family from Oklahoma heading West in search of work during the Great Depression. During the Great Depression, in nine to deliver the goods, many people had to abandon their homes to seek out jobs in different locations. Also, countless individuals were forced to leave their homes because they could not support to pay their mortgage or rent. The Grapes of Wrath gives a dampen understanding to the hardships people faced than just reading near it in books. In The Grapes of Wrath the Joad family and couple of their friends left their homes in search of jobs in California because they could not afford to rifle in their homes. Individuals also barely had any money to survive so they had to ration their food or use as little money as possible. In the scene when Pa Joad and two children went into a rest stop and wanted to debase ten cent worth of bread because that is tout ensemble they could lay off at the moment so the money would last them all the way to California. Man individuals can learn closely American history easier by a work of fiction such as a film rather than reading it from a history book.

This is the case because when an author places characters that face the same hardships and tribulations or prosperities as a period in history, it is to relate and sire a line that really happening. Whereas in reading a work of nonfiction can sometimes be tedious in onerous to imagine that happening to an individual. Also, when watching a movie about a period of history that is fairly accurate, it sparks an individuals interest to observe what the period looked like rather than hard to imagine it. Overall I fairly enjoyed the part of The Grapes of Wrath that we watched. The movie made me better understand the hardships that befell individuals during the Great Depression. in the first place watching this movie, I had not truly visualized what individuals went through during the depression.
