Part I: TITLE Ninotcha Rosca sheds light on the plight of our farming during the Marcos era through her smart, State of War.  Albeit political in nature, Rosca managed to jinx her audience by using love, family and life, takeed creatively in allegories, allowing her readers to satisfy through the eyes of the oppressed.
