The abruptly bilgewater, The Sniper, by Liam OFlaherty takes the general vagary of cultured war and thrusts the hardships of it into the referees mind. The theme in this story is the cold bitterness of it all. One piece of music kills his feature brother in a struggle of war. This is a stagecoach of view not usually told.
There is a civil war going on in Dublin, Ireland between the destitute Staters and the Republicans. The year is June 1922. The sniper is on the Republicans side, fighting for freedom from the British government. He is located on the rooftop of a grammatical construction where the OConnell Bridge is in sight. The protagonist in this story is indeed the sniper because he is the reoccurring character in the story and is seen throughout the whole plot. The antagonist is the un retiren sniper on the enemys side. The central conflict in this story is that a short battle is taking place with bullets firing everywhere. The sniper doesnt know it barely he is up against his own kin, his brother.
The author gives the reader a few glimpses of how the main character looks. For congressman, he has a face of a student, which means he has a slim and self-disciplined expression. Also the phrase, a man who is used to expression at death gives us the image of a man who has a warriors look.
These are all adequate examples of send out characterization. An example of indirect characterization is when it is said in the school text that he feels guilty and remorse. I believe this is because he has been doing superfluous killings and he has probably been forced into this. In addition, he kills an gray woman in the story. So we can gather from this that he is ruthless, but regrets his actions constantly. The sniper tricks the enemy sniper into believing he is dead. This example of indirect characterization tells us he is clever and knows what to do in intense situations. In other words, he has large(p) reactions.
