911 Rememberence

When the terrorist attacks of 9/11 happened I was just 8 age old. The closest thing I knew to terror was what I had seen in movies. The reasons and actions those arab passengers had were completely unclear to me then and still are today, 10 years later. However, I cant use my age as an excuse for not knowing what was going on. People every over the country were tot solelyy in shock of the thorough dismantlets that were occurring. To the typical American citizen, it seemed the attacks were in every way random, so you can only imagine what was on the radio and TV seemed like to an 8 year old. Never the less, the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 gave me an experience that Im happy to gather in had as a child, it gave me an discernment of horrible things bulk can and will do issue of fear, jealousy, and revenge.
Attending St. Johns the Evangelist, I was only in second year and pretty much isolated from the rest of the world. I dont even think I knew all the capitals or even all 50 states in general. I have, of course, heard of New York by then, but when it came to where in New York this fiasco happened I didnt have a clue. I recollect asking my teacher if I were to look exposeside would I see all the crazy weed on TV, probably because I had no perception of length and where New York was to Beverly.



Again, the mess created that day was a whole atomic pile for someone to take in at such a young age.
Seeing a picture of the Twin Towers sooner they were destroyed made me think of how much of a outrage it was that after it was just a bunch of debris. I dont remember clearly, but I think around that time Mrs. Peterson was us about structures around the world. Structures like Eiffel Tower, pyramids, and the Great Wall of China.
