Concert Attendance Report
At May 26, 2012. I went to Santa Monica Civic Auditorium to hear a symphony orchestra orchestra orchestra concert. When I arrived there, I discovered many elderly audiences pay back to the concert. They look like harmony lovers and professional music workers. Although it is a free concert, it makes me feel solemn and serious. This is a wonderful know for me. The symphony orchestra concert consists of three parts which are advance to The Wasps, Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op.16 and Symphony No. 3 in E Flat Major, Op.97. Allen Robert Gross is the music coach and conductor. The symphony orchestra concert consists of various musical instruments: the strings, woodwind, brass and percussion. When each musical instrument plays together, it likes a kind of language from music; I can feel a variety of stories from the symphony orchestra. My emotion was often influenced by the performance. When I sat blue in the front of seat, I observed that the seating governing body of the instruments was the same as the book knowledge what I larn in the online class. The First violins and The Second Violins are seated on the left side. At the rear of stage, there are winds, brass, and percussion.
At the second part of concert, a grand piano was go into the front of center.
The first part which is Overture to The Wasps reflects the composers orchestral style. The character of style is lively, passionate, folk-like materials and diversified. The opening is an ensemble. The rhythm has a scant(p) complex, because it is always changed. In the beginning, group of symphony orchestra perform together, the system is fluent. High pitches often appear and melody begins on a lower pitch and move upward. At the end, it is a high up pitch. In fact, I always cant mother the purpose why performers play, but I was surprised that I still can understand what kind of emotion they command to express.
