In my opinion, all three forms of appeals are used in the closing argument. First of all, Logos is used because Jake strategically uses logic, claims, and severalise to convince an audience of a certain point. A fully(a) example of Logos in the closing argument is when Jake says, not to just talk more or less the fair play, but to actually take care it, seek it, and live it. He excessively goes into to talking about the evidence in the endeavor, and the truth behind it all. Secondly, I imagine it uses Pathos. When Jake tells the jurors that he is going to tell them a story and wants them to block their eye is when it starts to get emotionally heavy; especially when he goes into every detail of how the two white men grabbed the slim girl and raped her. Some emotional terms Jake uses to come on pathos are, shattering everything innocent and pure, vicious thrusts, fog of sottish breath and sweat, killed her tiny womb, and murdering any chance of her to bear children. These dark terms are used to get through to the jurors and farm them realize the severity of this case. Jake builds a bridge with the audience towards the destroy when he starts to get emotional and cry. That shows the viewers that he is not only professionally involved with the trial but also very emotionally involved as well.



Finally, the closing argument, near importantly, uses Ethos. It uses a fair, open-minded, honest, and well-informed opinion about the subject matter. presently here is a white male, defending a bare father who killed two white men after raping his 7 year old daughter. At first it seems contradictory, but Jake sees the truth that lies behind it and makes a very true important instruction in this clip, I set out to prove a black man to receive a fair trial in the south, that we are all equal in the eyes of the law.
